The minimate appears to follow a lot of the promotional ones – a basic, blank color with a logo on the chest. The logo is based on this promotional poster:

Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back – Select Action Figures – Series 1

KevinNose

Diamond Select Toys kick off their Select Action Figure line with Series 1 featuring our heroes Jay and Silent Bob!

JayAndSilentBob1

It’s been 20 years since we met Jay & Silent Bob in Clerks, and DST is celebrating the less-than-dynamic duo’s anniversary with their most realistic action figures ever!
Based on their appearances in Jay & Silent Bob Strikes Back, these 7-inch scale figures include multiple interchangeable parts, multiple points of articulation, and connecting display bases depicting the interior and exterior of RST Video. Packaged in Select-style display packaging, with spine artwork. Sculpted by Patrick Piggott!

Clerks II InAction Figures

Mr. Smith tweeted way back in 2009:

Ta-da! Or rather, Ta-Ta’s! Emma InAction Figure from CLERKS II line. Not out yet, but soon. See more here: http://tinyurl.com/o7q546

Unfortunately the tinyurl is broken (it pointed to http://www.jayandsilentbob.com/mostpopular.html which now gives a 404 error) but it is confirmation that Mrs. Smith’s character was taken to the prototype stage.

Another image was released on Valentine’s Day 2014 – when Mr. Smith posted the following image of Sexy Stud to his instagram:

Mr. Smith then followed that up on April 5, 2014 posting the following image to facebook:

The Series 6 – Clerks II line-up!

  1. Dante & Becky
  2. Randal
  3. Jay
  4. Silent Bob
  5. Elias
  6. Emma
  7. Sexy Stud

Mr. Smith has commented that if Clerks III goes ahead – which is now extremely likely – the sixth series of InAction Figures would be released!

Please Help! Kevin Smith spoke of giving Zak Knutson the Sexy Stud prototype… which podcast/smodcast episode was it?

Nerd Block – October 2014

kevin-smith-october-nerd-block

In an awesome marketing move Nerd Block managed to get Mr Smith to curate this months classic loot box!

The two items of interest (relating to KS) where pretty great – a nice sticker sheet:

And a Jay&SilentBob-as-Batman&Robin The Undynamic Duo tee-shirt…

Full unboxing review (and more images) at imonthlysubscribe.blogspot.co.uk

You can pick up these items on ebay (as of January 2015 anyway)

[ One thing I really like about Nerd Block – it ships with a tee-shirt every month – which makes the price tag seem very affordable. ]
